This Privacy Policy explains how Habit / THNK ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Habit. We care about your privacy and only use your information to operate and improve the service.
Information we collect
Account & profile information you provide (name, email, phone, password, and — for providers — license, insurance, and business details).
Booking & transaction information (services booked, appointment details, addresses for in-home visits, deposits and payments). Card details are handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
Health & safety information you choose to provide in intake forms, used solely to deliver your service safely.
Usage & device information (pages viewed, approximate location, and standard log data) to keep the service secure and working.
How we use information
To create and manage your account, process bookings and payments, connect you with providers, send confirmations and reminders (email/SMS), prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and improve Habit. We send service messages related to your bookings; marketing messages are optional and you can unsubscribe at any time.
How we share information
With the provider or business you book, so they can perform your service (including the details needed for an in-home visit).
With service providers who operate the platform on our behalf — for example Stripe (payments), Supabase (database/auth), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS), and Google Maps (geocoding) — under contracts that limit their use of your data.
When required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of users and providers. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices & rights
You can access or update your information in your dashboard, unsubscribe from marketing, and request deletion of your account by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your data.
Data security & retention
We use industry-standard safeguards, encryption for sensitive secrets, and access controls. We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and safety obligations.
Children
Habit is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
